With the Simultaneous Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Thermogravimetric Analyzer, the weight change and heat flow of materials are measured simultaneously as a function of temperature or time. Thus, the thermal stabilities of materials, polymer-polymer or polymer-additive interactions, the moisture and volatile components within the material, or the ratios of additives are determined.
